Alton Moore, Jr.

Alton L. Moore, Jr. 68 was born August 17, 1953 in Galveston TX and passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021 surrounded by family at Goodall-Witcher hospital in Clifton, TX. Alton was a veteran of the US Navy during which time he served in Vietnam. He was always trying to help others. Alton loved music and even started a band in his younger years.  He was always singing or playing the drums to a song. A small graveside service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery on May 7, 2021.

Alton was preceded in death by his parents Velma E. (Saunders) and Alton L. Moore Sr. He is survived by his three daughters: Shannon (W.A.) Foster, Jodi (Reda) Rajraji, and Lisa Moore. Three Sisters: Fran (Bill) Smith, Cheri (George) Schenck, Tracy (John) Villanueva. Four grandchildren: Kevin (Amy) Gradney, Samantha Sneed, Christian Rodriguez, and Cristofer Rodriguez. Two great grandchildren: Kylah and Kage Gradney, as well as many other family and friends.
