Barbara Brownsworth

Barbara Kay (Westfahl) Brownsworth, 80, of Clifton passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Lutheran Sunset Ministries. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Clifton Cemetery with Rev. Mary Gean Cope officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2020 at Clifton Funeral Home.

Barbara was born on July 12, 1939 in Okeene, Oklahoma to L.C. and Callie Westfahl, the youngest of 16 children. She attended schools in Enid and Okeene. On October 1, 1955, she married Alfred Oneal Brownsworth in Okeene and to this union brought 7 children. She worked at Goodall Witcher Hospital in housekeeping and as laundry supervisor, retiring after 20 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Clifton. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. Some of her hobbies included Baking cookies, Cross stitch, and working crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Brownsworth; daughter, Katherine Louise Mullins;  great-great-grandson, Jordan Montgomery Allen, Jr.; and 11 brothers and sisters.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Deborah Bronstad and husband, Ronnie of Clifton, Connie Smith and husband, Johnny of Cleburne, Rickey Brownsworth and wife, Beverly of Bulverde, Pamela Del Bosque and husband, Daniel of Clifton, Tamela Mullens and husband, Freeman of Clifton, Larry Brownsworth and wife, Dana of Clifton; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, 1 brother and 3 sisters.

Pallbearers are Brian Bronstad, Jason Smith, Kenneth Allen, Cody Mullens, Dylan Brownsworth, and Kollin Mullins.
