Betty Ann Reavis

Betty Ann Reavis, 62, of Clifton went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 1, 2016 at First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Clifton Cemetery. Guests are asked to wear bright colors to honor Betty's bright and cheerful personality.

Betty was born and raised in Clifton, Texas, the daughter of Gerald Sormrude and Betty Hunt Sormrude. Betty is preceded in death by her first husband John Fanelli who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident. Betty later married Gary Reavis, and had a daughter Kimberly Reavis. Betty was a member of First United Methodist Church where in her early years she taught Sunday school. Betty became a nurse and worked at the Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home. Throughout her life, Betty enjoyed helping others in any capacity. She was full of life even as she struggled with her own health remaining strong until the end. She was known for being outspoken, funny and compassionate.

Betty is survived by her sister Nancy Williams; her nieces Rachel Capra, Rebecca Hall, Ruth Williams; daughter Kimberly Witt and son-in-law Cody Witt.
