Billy Booth

Billy Booth, 82, of Clifton passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Clifton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hico Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Clifton Funeral Home.

Billy was born on December 6, 1940 to Earl and Rotha (Bullard) Booth in Hico, TX. He graduated from Hico High School where he was a member of the rodeo team and played football.

On August 26, 1966 Billy married Linda Jaggars in Hico, TX.  They moved to Clifton, TX in 1972 where Billy and Linda had two children, Jory and Kacey.

Billy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed nature, that love of the outdoors developed into a career at Erickson Feed Mill and Clifton Feed where he made lifelong friends.  Billy enjoyed rodeos, hunting, reading, and watching westerns.  He had a knack for mechanics and there was not much he couldn’t fix.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; parents, Earl and Rotha Booth; sister, Betty Templeton and brother-in-law Orville Templeton; Father and mother in-law, Fred and Delores Jaggars.

He is survived by his son, Jory Booth and wife, Misty of Waco; daughter, Kacey Darnell and husband Paul of Robinson; Grandchildren, Ciara Booth, Roby Booth, Ace Darnell, Josh Bryson, and Megan Feldman; Great Grandchild, Layla Knowles; Sisters-in-law, Dianne Stone, her husband Ret. General William Garrison, and Freda LeFevre.  Along with a host of nephews, a niece, and many other relatives.
