Billy Wayne Burch, 68, of Clifton passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Church of Christ, Clifton with Mr. Steve Countryman officiating. Burial will follow at Clifton Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 6-7 PM at Clifton Funeral Home. Military Honors will be conducted by the VFW and the American Legion Post 322.

Born August 31, 1947 in Meridian, TX, Billy was the son of James Sr. and Elouise (Yoakum) Burch. After graduating from Meridian High School, he went on to serve his country in the United States Army in Germany.

After the Army, Billy went to work for Clifton Moulding for several years. He worked in the oil field for 4 years, Wilkerson Feed Store in Meridian for 5 years, then for Trotter Construction in Walnut Springs for 10 years, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. Preceding him in death were his parents and 1 nephew, Brian Burch of Clifton.

Survivors include his brother, Jimmy Burch and wife Janet of Clifton; 1 nephew, James Burch III of Meridian; grand-nephew, Wyatt Burch of Clifton; 4 grand-nieces, Krista Burch of Clifton, Emily Burch of Clifton, Breanna Burch of Temple, and Hope Burch of Eddy.

In lieu of flowers Memorials can be made to Clifton Church of Christ, P.O. box 229 Clifton, TX 76634
