Brady Gene Niemeier, 84, of Cranfills Gap passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, in Hamilton. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 10am at the Gathering Place at the Rock Church.
Brady was born on February 20, 1938, in Osage, TX to Herbert and Ella (Schrader) Niemeier. Before graduating high school, he was employed at General Dynamics. He graduated from Brewer High School in White Settlement. He later transferred to General Dynamics at the Connally Air Force Base. On June 1, 1957, he married Joyce Lavenia Canada. They welcomed a son, Charlie and later a daughter, Cheryl. In 1967, They moved to Cranfills Gap where Brady opened a welding shop. He also loved woodworking, he made anything anyone wanted. When he wasn’t woodworking, you could find him out fishing with his friends. For 18 years, he worked for the Mustang Valley Water Company and continued his wood working until he fell ill in 2005. He was a member of St. Olafs Lutheran Church in Cranfills Gap.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Charlie.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Niemeier; daughter, Cheryl; sister, Barbara Huer of Idaho; grandson, Zachary Niemeier; granddaughter, Emily Childress; and great-grandchildren, Eli, Shelby, and Holt.
