Bryan Sanders

March 28, 1975 — January 17, 2024

Bryan Aaron Sanders (48), a devoted husband, doting father, loving son, big brother, good friend, avid outdoorsman, and successful businessman passed away following a brief illness on January 17, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Clifton. Burial will follow at Lanes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, 2024, in the large fellowship hall at First Baptist Church, Clifton.

The son of Kenneth and Paula Sanders of Mosheim, Bryan was born on March 28, 1975 in Waco, Texas. He grew up with a tireless work ethic that drove him to succeed as both an athlete and a scholar while also working long hours with his parents on the family’s ranch in Mosheim. After graduating from Clifton High School in 1993 as a member of the National Honor Society and a star on the football team, Bryan attended Rice University on a football scholarship where he played linebacker. Following college, Bryan’s work ethic and savvy were once again on full display when, in 2001, at the age of only 26, he cofounded a successful pharmaceutical sales and distribution company, Prodigy Health, in Austin, Texas.

In May of 2004 Bryan married the love of his life, Charlotte Kay Ognowski. Bryan and Charlotte made their home in Austin where they had a daughter, Taylor (16), and a son, Brodie (14). With Prodigy Health continuing to thrive, Bryan was afforded the opportunity to take a step back and trade in his business obligations for something that he valued much more highly, his family. Over the last ten years, with Charlotte by his side, Bryan was able to explore the world, cheer on Taylor as she developed into a standout volleyball player and was able to take the time to coach up Brodie to become a terror on the football field, a bit of a tradition among the Sanders men. Additionally, Bryan’s generosity and innate work ethic would see him spending time where it all began, helping Ken and Paula in Mosheim during those particularly demanding times on the ranching calendar. When not with family, Bryan could usually be found watching a football game, out in the field hunting, on a body of water with a fishing rod in hand, or vainly trying to train his two ornery but beloved English bulldogs.

In addition to countless friends, Bryan is survived by his wife, Charlotte Sanders, daughter Taylor Sanders, son Brodie Sanders, parents Ken and Paula Sanders, sister Lexie Allison, as well as four nieces.
