Carolyn Thiele Wilson

Carolyn Marie Wilson passed away Tuesday, June 9,2015. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Clifton with Pastor Bill Metting and Chaplain Beverly Mounce officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 6-7 p.m. at Clifton Funeral Home. Burial at Norse Cemetery.

Carolyn Marie (Thiele) Wilson was born on February 26, 1957 to Carl and Estella Thiele. She passed away on June 9, 2015 after a courageous battle against cancer. She graduated from Clifton High School in 1975. She went on to attend nursing school and became an LVN. She started her career at Goodall Witcher Hospital. She met Patrick Wilson in 1980 and they moved to Wisconsin. They were married on May 29, 1982 and later had 2 sons, Thomas and Andrew. She worked at Wild Rose Community Hospital for 10 years. After returning back to Clifton in 1992, she worked for Dr. Bruce Scaff at Clifton Clinic.
Carolyn enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, canning, and living the farm/country life. She was also a dedicated member of the Clifton Volunteer Fire Department for 12 years where she served as Secretary/Treasurer.
She is preceded in death by her father - Carl, mother - Estella, and brother - Marvin. She is survived by her Husband of 33 years: Patrick; sons: Thomas (girlfriend Jamie) and Andrew (wife Melissa); brothers: Ernest, Edwin, and Clarence; and grandchildren: Macey, Austin, Britni, and Briley. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, close family, and friends, as well as her Fire Department and Clifton Clinic Family.
She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.
