Cathy Mccaslin

April 5, 1955 — May 1, 2024

Cathy Elaine McCaslin, 69, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 1, 2024. She was born on April 5, 1955, in Corsicana, Texas, to Lloyd and Sybil Baldwin.

Cathy was a loving wife, a devoted mother, grandmother, and a cherished sister. Known for her selfless nature and quiet strength, Cathy always prioritized others before herself. She had a heart full of kindness and faced life’s challenges with grace. Cathy found joy in sewing, crocheting, cross-stitching, and working on various craft projects with her husband. She has been a resident of Clifton for over 20 years, during most of that time, owning and operating the Cub's Den child care center with her husband Ardie. She was a member of the Clifton Church of Christ.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Husband Ardie, son Shane and wife Cindy, granddaughter Hailee, daughter Chaunta and husband Ryan, granddaughters Katelyn, Kyndall, and Alli, as well as her sisters, Connie and husband Rene’ Cheri and husband Eddie, nieces and nephews, Monte, Halli, Hannah, Jarrod, and Allison.

A service to honor and celebrate Cathy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 4pm at Clifton Church of Christ in Clifton, Texas.

May her legacy of loving-kindness, grace, and strength continue to inspire all who knew her.
