Charles Alan Blum

Charles Allen Blum, 90, of Clifton passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 16, 2020 at Bulman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Clifton Funeral Home.

Alan was the youngest child and son of Carl William Rudolph “Charlie” Blum and Zella Octavie White.  He was born November 5, 1930 in the Blum family home outside of Jonesboro, Texas.

Alan is preceded in death by his mother and father, his brothers, June Garland Blum, and Nelson Franklin Blum, his sister, Gaylon Estella Winton, brother-in-laws, SC Thetford, Carl Winton, and Fred Rattan, Sr., sister-in-laws, Barbara Blum, JoAnne Blum, Yvonne Rattan, and Jane Thetford, and step-son, Eugene Eary.

Alan is survived by his wife, Josephine Blum of Clifton, daughter, Nancy Blum of Dallas, son, Charles Blum of Anchorage, AK, step-daughter, Janet Sova of Clifton, brother-in-law, Randall and wife, Priscilla, of Whitesboro, grandsons, Aaron Blum of Anchorage, AK, and Bobby Goains of Waco, granddaughters, Amy Goains of Laguna Park, and Amanda Eary-Cornelius of Fort Worth, 3 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
