Chuck Grant Pierce

Chuck Grant Pierce, 61, of Clifton passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 25, 2017 at Evans Cemetery, 1415 CR 4145, Cranfills Gap with Pastor Ty Brown officiating.

Chuck was born July 4, 1956 in Fresno, CA to George and Juanita (Healon) Pierce. At the age of 17, he joined the Army and later the Marines and National Guard. He also attended Fresno Community College for auto mechanics. In 1979, he married Tina Ann Wons and they had four children, April Lee, Billie Jo, Christina and Hope. In 1987, he and his family moved from California to Brady and later back to California. They returned to Texas in 1992, making Clifton their home. Chuck worked for Davis Trucking Company, Valley Mills Care Center and did many other types of work over the years. He loved his children and grandchildren and going to church. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God, in Clifton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goerge and Juanita Pierce; brothers, Al Pierce and Glenn Pierce; daughter, April Lee Troyn-Richardson; granddaughter, Tina Ivoryanna Lopez.

He is survived by his former wife and good friend, Tina Ann Pierce; daughters, Billie Jo Aguilar and husband, Max, Christina Pierce Morgan, Hope Lane and boyfriend, Julio Tapia; grandchildren, Vanessa Duran, Christen Pierce and husband, Cesar Castillo, Brian Adams, April Lopez, Hannah Phelps, Cydney Morgan, Monica Duran, Daniel Morgan, Chance Richardson, Maximo Aguilar, Micheal Green, Jonathan Richardson II, Jonah Green, William Morgan; great-granddaughter, Ariel Devila; sister, Alta Glois Pierce Elisarraras; nieces, Gina Huskey, Shelly Pierce-Taylor; nephews, John Pierce and Robert Healon, and many friends.

Pallbearers are Julio Tapia, Russell Morgan, Brian Adams, Daniel Morgan, Cesar Castillo, Robert Healon, Nate Calhoun, Elton Watley, Danny Lane and Doug Ratliff.
