Clara Adline Dennis

Clara Adline Rowe Dennis, 90, of Clifton, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at her home after an extended illness. A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Clifton Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Smith Bend-Coon Creek Cemetery.

She was a farm wife for most of her life. She enjoyed farm work, quilting, painting, reading, and puzzles. She was a member of Smith Bend Baptist Church and a 50 plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lennis Marshal and Hila Ann Rowe, 8 brothers and 1 sister, her husband Ollin Dennis of 44 years in 1988, son, Wayne Dennis, in 2003, and daughter, Carol Ann Dennis Blewett in 2007.

She is survived by one sister, Marie Antoinette (Doddle) Carmichael of Hillsboro, one daughter-in-law, Nancy Dennis of Groesbeck, two grandchildren and their spouses, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
