Dana Louise Jorgenson

Dana Louise Jorgenson, 43, passed away on May 9, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Grand Old Gospel Lighthouse, Clifton. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 at Clifton Funeral Home.

She was born May 9, 1973 at Goodall-Witcher Hospital to Cynthia Sommerfeld and Richard Lilley.

Dana graduated from Cranfills Gap school in 1991 and worked at Clifton Lutheran Sunset Home until 2013.

On June 20, 1992 she married Richard Ringo and from this union Nathan Lawrence, Samuel Alexander, and Jason Corey were born.

Dana married her soul mate, Martin Olin Jorgenson II, on August 3, 2000 and loved him like no other.

She was preceded in death by her mother Cynthia Sommerfeld Finstad, father Richard Lilley, maternal grandfather Lawrence Sommerfeld, paternal grandmother Florine Lilley, step-grandparents James and Sandy Lilley, and step-grandparents Jewel and Edgar Finstad.

Dana is survived by her husband, Martin; 3 sons Nathan and wife Chelsie, Alex and Jason; 2 sisters Mandy Lilley Ringo and Jona Finstad Mathis; Half-sister Mallory Lee from Kentucky; Stepfather John Finstad; Grandparents Sydonia and Fritz Sommerfeld; 1 grandson, River Wyatt; and a whole bunch of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Dana was an inspiration to all and loved all things in life, especially her grandson River and her "Baby Girl" Dolly. She was an avid deer hunter and loved spending time out at the farm. She always had a smile on her face and lots of love in her heart.
