Daniel Edward Hinesly

Dan Hinesly of Whitney passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Clifton Nursing and Rehab in the loving care of Lutheran Sunset Hospice after a lengthy illness.

Dan grew up in Brownwood, served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Bremerton and worked many years in construction. He married Louise Sparks, who died at an early age. He later married Wilma Jean Hinesly, celebrating 50 years of marriage together prior to her passing in 2016. Dan was also preceded in death by his parents, one sister and four brothers. He is survived by sons, Jim and Jack Hinesly; daughters, Dee Ann Stailey, Mechelle Slaughter, Rena Blanton and their families. Clifton Funeral Home arranged a private service with burial in Clifton Memorial Park.
