Danny Ray Huffman

Danny Ray Huffman, of Clifton, passed away on September 1, 2015, one day after his 65th birthday. Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Zion United Church at Womack, with Rev. Michael Vaughan officiating. Burial followed at Clifton Memorial Park.

Danny was born in Dallas on August 31, 1950, the younger of two children born to Ray and Dorothy Huffman. He graduated from Sunset High School in 1968 and served in the military for six years.

At the time of his death, Danny had been a faithful employee for 42 years in the Corporate Headquarters of Central Freight Lines in Waco. Danny's life was his children, their spouses and his grandchildren.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Huffman. Danny leaves behind a loving family consisting of children, Mark Huffman and wife, Julie, of Ozark, Missouri; Leah O'Neal and husband, James, of Clifton; and Shelley Townley and husband, Nathan, of Clifton. The sunshine in Danny's life was his grandchildren: Chase, Justin and Seth O'Neal, Jacob, Austin and Madeleine Huffman, and soon-to-be-born, Ava Grace Townley. Also surviving Danny are his parents, Ray and Billie Huffman, his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Paul Rutherford, and his nephew, Sam Grafford.

Memorials may be made to Zion United Church at Womack or a charity of choice.
