David Lee Hanlon Sr.

David Lee Hanlon Sr., 45, of Valley Mills, passed away November 28, 2015 at Goodall-Witcher Hospital. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

David was born June 26, 1970 at St. Paul in Dallas, TX. He grew up in Duncanville and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1988. At the age of 17, he overcame a battle with T-cell lymphoma. He retired from the Texas Parks and Wildlife.

David was a friend to everyone. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, bird watching and raising bees. He was a loving, caring husband and father, spending time with family and friends was very important to him.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Hanlon; father, Alvin Hanlon; brother, John Hanlon; sister, Lee Svrcek; Children, Courtni Fries, Michael Fries, Summer Fries, David Hanlon Jr.; grandchildren, Madylynn and Noah Fries.
