Dixie Heath

Dixie Heath, 85, of Iredell passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at a local nursing home.
A Funeral Service will held at 10 A.M. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Iredell. Visitation will be held at 9 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Iredell.

Born June 4, 1930 in Arlington, Dixie was the daughter of Joe and Ruth (Bellamy) Kelly. Her family was one of the founding families of Arlington, where she grew up. In her youth she played softball, which led her to meet husband Royce Heath, they were united in marriage in 1947. She worked as an Administrative Secretary at UTA for over 25 years before retiring. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Iredell and an avid reader. Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, Bobby Heath.

Survivors include her husband, Royce Heath; children, Joe Anderson Heath of Iredell, LeAnne Donner and husband Lee of Clifton, Lisa Heath of San Angelo; grandchildren Jody Heath, Erin Donner, Erica Stenmark and husband Ben, Cheryl Stenmark and husband Evan, Sean Michael Heath; great-grandchildren, Claire Stenmark, Audrey Stenmark, Emma Stenmark.
