Dora Elizondo

Dora Elizondo, 66, of Clifton passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her residence with family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Clifton Funeral Home with Levi Price officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Clifton Memorial Park.

She was the daughter of Jesusa and the late, Juan DelBosque. She was born in Mathis Texas on April 27, 1951 and the eldest of nine siblings. She was the beloved mother to Lisa Lopez, Laundie and husband Chuck Aikens, David and wife Kacie Lopez. She had eight grandchildren, Rafael, Saundra, Alexander, Trip, Joey, Josh, Rachel and Danyell, and one great grandchild, Matthew. She unconditionally loved and adored her family.

She is survived by David B Lopez, three sisters; Beatrice, Yolanda and Esmeralda and five brothers; Martin, Daniel, Manuel, the late Emilio Smokey Del Bosque, Lupe and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Dora's door was always open and her tea was super sweet. She especially enjoyed sitting on her swing and visiting. Her smile could light up a room and even though her tea was super sweet you knew she would never sugar coat anything. She would give it to you straight and this is what everyone loved and respected about her. She was a woman with many talents and a true master of most. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, wood working and crafting, just to name a few. Her biggest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She put all her heart and love into everything she made. She will be forever missed and never forgotten. She will continue to live on in all our hearts.
