After completing a photo-shop touch up class in Waco, she worked in photography until she decided to work at Walls Industries for many years. She took on another job working at Lutheran Sunset Ministries in housekeeping for 17 years until she retired. Doris very much enjoyed working at the Ministry and visiting the residents everyday.

Doris met the love of her life Erwin Kleine when she was in her early 30's and they married in Clifton on June 17, 1961 and he preceded her in death in 2005. They had twins, Timmy and Jimmy Kleine. Jimmy died at birth due to complications. She was a very loving and caring mother and loved being around kids. Her favorite topic to talk about was her grandkids. She would always let anybody know when you came to visit her if she had any new pictures of the grandbabies.

Doris always lived life to the fullest even with her upper extremity deformities at birth. She loved listening to her son play piano and sing and most of all visiting with her great-grandbabies ever chance she had. She loved to dance, be outdoors, and oh-(Let's go to Waco shopping! Erwin!)
Doris is survived by her son Timmy Kleine of Clifton, brother Clarence Fields Jr. and wife, Carol and their two daughters Dana and Denise, granddaughter Katie Stewart and husband,Bryan, and two wonderful great-grandbabies Erin and Eli Stewart.
