She worked as an administrative assistant for Birdville ISD for many years. But first, and foremost Eileen was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing in her church choir, camping trips with lifelong friends, numerous trips to Europe, playing Bridge and line-dancing with the Heart of Texas Line Dancers. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clifton. She loved her church and the town of Clifton where she volunteered endlessly.
Her proudest accomplishment along with many members of the community was the Nellie Pederson Civic Library. She was President of the Clifton Civic Improvement Society when a new library became their vision in 1999 and she was very instrumental in the work that went into the new library.
