George Beggs Arnold Jr.

George Beggs Arnold Jr., 59, of Clifton passed away March 10, 2016 at his residence. Graveside services will be Monday, March 14, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at Clifton Cemetery, with Dr. Jerry Smith officiating.

Born July 13, 1956 in Bosque County, George was the son of George B. Arnold and Ruth (Johle) Arnold. On January 21, 1976, he was united in marriage to Darlene Meyer. They had two children, George Beggs Arnold III (Trey) and Breana Nicole (Arnold) Via.

On June 22, 1995, George welcomed his second daughter, Brandi Nicole Arnold.

In the early 70's George worked for the telephone construction company, Wilco Inc., that was owned and managed by Woodrow Meyer. He also owned and managed Arnold Motors in Clifton Texas, as well as other successful enterprises. George was a real estate developer and worked diligently at developing and building into what is now known as Oak Run Subdivision in Clifton, Texas.

George was a member of Zion United Church in Womack, Texas, where he was also baptized.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George B. Arnold and Ruth (Johle) Arnold.

Survivors include his daughters, Breana Via and husband Jeff of Grain Valley, Missouri, Brandi Arnold of Fort Worth, Texas; son, George Beggs Arnold III (Trey) and wife Heather of Tomball, Texas; grandchildren, Garrett, Lainie, Reese and Stephanie Via of Grain Valley, Missouri, Trace Leal, Kaylee, Kinley, George Beggs Arnold IV (Cade) of Tomball, Texas.
