Gwyn Christy Christensen

Gwyn Christy Christensen, 78, of Cranfills Gap ended his long battle with cancer and COPD on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 28, 2017 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Cranfills Gap with Pastor Ryan Pederson officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00m P.M. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Clifton Funeral Home.

Gwyn was born November 3, 1938 on the family farm outside of Cranfills Gap. He attended school in Cranfills Gap and graduated from the University of North Texas. He was confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church and was still an active member.

He had a long career in sales and management in the semiconductor industry spending almost 20 of those years with Texas Instruments in Dallas.

He enjoyed golf, fishing and going to the horse races.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; son, Chris of Keller; daughter Heather of Austin; grandchildren, C.J. and Kristy of Keller and Merit of Austin; sister, Paula Riker of Hamilton and many extended family members and many great friends.

Pall Bearers are Richard Reagan, Ryan Randall, Larry Thomas, Tim Pederson and Virgil Tindall.

Memorials may be made to the St. Olaf Lutheran Church Elevator Fund at 402 Meridian ST. Cranfills Gap, TX 76637.
