Harold (Hal) Taylor

Harold (Hal) Edwin Taylor, 66, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020, at Clifton Nursing and Rehab. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Harold was born on October 12, 1953, in Pewee Valley, KY, the oldest of eight children, to George and Jane (Lerche) Taylor.  In 1971, he graduated from Grandville High School, Grandville, MI. He served in the U.S. Army from November 11, 1971, to August 9, 1973, and received a National Defense Service Medal. He loved music and playing the guitar and also enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially with his brothers. He loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Jane Taylor; and nephew Brandon Taylor.

He is survived by his siblings, Ruth (David) Hittle of Rossville, GA., Michael Taylor of Otter Lake, MI., Kathleen Taylor of Caro, MI., Leonard Taylor of Dalton, GA., Mary Austin of Chattanooga, TN., Eric Taylor of Caro, MI, Maurice (Michelle) Taylor of Flinstone, GA.; nieces and nephews, Terri, Chris, Adren, Olivia, Tina, Stefan, Mary D (Dave), Colleen (Joey), Kendra, Maya, and Anneliese; great-nieces and nephews, Gabby (Kris), Lydia, Logan, Liam, Tyler, Aubrey, Marci, Maggie, Jack, Cora Jane, Jimmie,  and LJ; aunt, Francis (Don) Campbell of Chattanooga, TN.; uncle, David (Karen) Taylor of Ballwin, MO.
