Jackie (Stanford) Payne

Jackie F. Payne passed from this life to meet the Lord and those loved ones who have gone before on December 21, 2024. She passed peacefully at home. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Funeral service will be held at the Clifton funeral home on December 27th. Visitation: 1:00-2:00. Service at 2:00. 

A celebration of life service will be held at the Methodist Church in Mansfield on January 14th at 11:00 in the Chapel.

Jackie was born on January 4, 1937 to Rean and Mae Stanford. She had one brother Clayton.

She married her high school sweetheart William ( Bill) Payne on March 26,1955. She was blessed with 3 children. She was a stay at home mom for many years.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening and canning the food out of the garden. She loved to make pies. At the church functions she was know as the pie lady.

Survivors include son, Danny Payne of Whitney, daughters, Paula Davis and husband Johnny of Alvarado and Geneva Dry of Joshua, four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years at his death on April of 2016, her parents, and brother.
