James Ronny Riggs

James Ronny Riggs, age 60, of Clifton passed away on Sunday morning, July 12, 2015 in Clifton. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Clifton with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Riggs, Codie Riggs, Tim Case and Cole Word. Burial will follow at Clifton Cemetery.

Ronny was born on August 17, 1954 in Canyon, Texas to Jimmy and Jane (Jones) Riggs. He was a 1972 graduate of Clifton High School and completed his education with his graduation from Stephen F. Austin University. Following school, he worked for Chemical Lime Company in Clifton.

Ronny was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Riggs, and his brother, Randy Riggs, in 1995. He is survived by his daughter, Dana Riggs Case and husband, Tim; granddaughters, Hayli and Emma Case; grandson, Weston Paul Case; his mother, Jane Riggs of Clifton; and brother, Russell Riggs and wife, Lisa, of Clifton. Additional survivors include two nephews, Codie Riggs and wife, Ashley, and their daughter, Madison Riggs and son, Mason, of Fort Worth and Kyle Riggs and wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Lexi Riggs, and son, Jace Riggs of Fort Worth; as well as many friends, uncles, aunts and cousins.
