James Townley

James Charles Townley, 59, of Clifton passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Clifton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clayton McCord officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 14, 2016 at Clifton Funeral Home. Burial at Clifton Cemetery.

Born May 10, 1957, James is the son of Floyd and Anita (Aclin) Townley. He started school in Mosheim and graduated from Clifton in 1975. He worked for Walls Mfg. for 25 years as a sewing machine mechanic. He married Karri Stanford on Dec. 6, 1986. He enjoyed watching the Texas Longhorns and playing with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son, Joshua Townley of China Spring; daughter, Brooke Gentry and husband Mason of Clifton; brother Larry Townley and wife Tammy of Clifton; three grandchildren.
