Jeffrey Yarbrough, 64, of Clifton passed away Monday, May 11, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2020, at marlin Cemetery, 501 Fortune St. Marlin, TX 76661. A viewing will be held from 10:00 A. M.-4:00 P.M. Thursday, May 14, 2020, at Clifton Funeral Home.

Jeffrey was born on October 15, 1955, in Midland, TX to Dan and Rebecca (Watford) Yarbrough. He graduated from Spring Woods High School in 1973. After graduation, he attended South Western University on a tennis scholarship.  In 1982, he met Gladys Brooks-Dykes, and the couple married on November 27, 1993, in Houston, TX. He also attended trade school and obtained a certificate in HVAC, where he worked for several years as a tech for apartment complexes in the Austin and Houston area. He later worked for a courier service, delivering business documents and for medical facilities.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed history, animals, fishing, and sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys.  He was a member of the Congress Ave. Baptist Church, Austin, and attended First Baptist Church, Clifton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Greg Yarbrough.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Yarbrough, and daughter, Xena Yarbrough; brother, Mark Robin Yarbrough, and his son, Bram Darby Yarbrough; sister, Jenny Watford; brother-in-law, Dr. Michael Golf; niece, Rachel Golf; nephews, Gregory Watford Golf, and Isaac Watford Golf.
