Joyce Nell Cash

Joyce Nell Cash, 89, of Clifton passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Goodall Witcher Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Clifton with Steven Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Meridian Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Joyce Nell Cash was born April 26, 1930, in Meridian to George G. and Willie Cash. She graduated from Clifton High School in 1948. She was a long time faithful member of First Baptist Church in Clifton. She worked at local banks and savings and loans over the years until her retirement from the VA Credit Union.

Joyce was an avid bowler and was a member of a Waco league, where she made many close friends and traveled the country bowling in tournaments. She remained close with her bowling team members even after she retired from the league.

She always put her family first in her life, and never herself, caring for her parents until they died. Although Joyce never had children, she was a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews. It was her joy to be with her family.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Margaret Starn of Punta Gorda, FL and several nieces and nephews and their children.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hill, Larry Seljos, Joshua Seljos, Josh Seljos, Chuck Hill, and Jeremy Horning.
