Karrie Nell Garver

Karrie Nell Garver, age 59, of Clifton passed away Friday afternoon, October 27, 2017, in Clifton. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 6, 2017, at the Clifton Funeral Home Chapel in Clifton.

Born in Kermit, TX on April 27, 1958, Karrie was the daughter of Robert O. and Betty J. (Stanton) Hartley. While still a young child, the family moved to Artesia, NM, where she grew up and graduated from high school. Following school, she lived in Oklahoma for 11 years before returning to Central Texas.

Karrie was first and foremost a devoted mother and grandmother. Her world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She also liked to fish and took delight in being in the great outdoors. A day spent shopping or getting her hair done was also a fun way to relax. Karrie was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her father, Robert O. Hartley, and a nephew, Casey Maples. Her survivors include her mother, Betty Hartley of Artesia, NM; three children, Jeremy Garver of Tulsa, OK, Chad Garver and wife, Beverly, of Lakeside Village, and Cody Garver and wife, Carolyn, of Cleburne; three sisters, Cathy Houghtaling and Karen Kelsey, both of Artesia, NM, and Carol Sue Maples of Roswell, NM; along with 10 grandchildren.
