Kenneth Gene was born on October 27, 1937, in Waco, TX to Archie and Emma Mae Nelson. He was raised in Clifton and attended Clifton schools. He also attended Trinity Lutheran Church in his early years.

Kenneth Gene was a very caring, loving, and generous soul. He loved helping others in his community. He was also a servant of the Lord by visiting those who were sick and helping those who were in need. He was often seen around our little town, always greeting people with a smile and hello.
