Larry Dean Price went to be with his Lord Jesus at the age of 71 on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, February 3, 2020, at Boggy Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:30 P.M. Monday, February 3, 2020, at Clifton Funeral Home.
Larry was born in Grand Prairie Texas to Juanita Driver Price and Rex Everett Price. Larry graduated from Arlington High School. On March 21, 1978, he married Sandra Lea Carlson in Arlington. They met serving as poster children for the United Cerebral Palsy Association. Throughout their marriage, they participated in many events and programs promoting access for handicapped persons. Larry had been a member of the Lame Ducks wheelchair basketball team. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and an old movie buff. Above all, he was a kind, loving and generous spirit who loved the Lord.
Larry was a spirit-filled believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He heard from the Holy Spirit almost constantly. I liked it most when I would come home and he had a joke to tell me that the Lord had told him! He was a wonder to be around. He loved his wife of 28 years with all of his heart. And he loved his family the same way. He loved his many pets, Pancho half poodle, Macho Chihuahua, and his feral cat that would scratch and bite, but he played with him anyway. Larry was fond of his cigars plus he will be remembered for making great lasagna. We are happy that our joyful brother is celebrating with our Lord in Heaven.
Larry is preceded in death by his dear wife, Sandra Carlson Price; parents, Rex and Juanita Price; niece, Candace Harbin; nephews, Mark Daniel Collins and Phillip Oliver Wiedemann; Uncle, Ross Price and wife, Georgina, and Aunt, Ruth Price Thomas.
Larry is survived by his sisters, Paula Collins ad Ginger Cole; brother-in-law, George Cole; cousins, Paul Price and wife, Lois, Marialyn Barnard and husband, Gary, James Thomas and wife, Sherra; Nieces, Amy Collins Jones and husband, Jeremy, Julie Harbin Badii and husband, Sarmad Badii; nephews, Berk Harbin and Joseph McElroy; great-nieces, Maddie Hinds and Katlin Swift; great-nephew, Tyler Swift, and great-grandniece, Paisley Swift.
