Larry Vaughan

On Tuesday, April 9, 2019 Larry Flint Vaughan met his Lord and Savior at the age of 71. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Clifton Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Clifton Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Clifton Funeral Home.

He was born on September 18, 1947 in Denver City, TX to Howard and Virginia (Dye) Vaughan. His family eventually settled in Snyder, TX where he graduated in 1966. After graduation, he attended Howard College in Big Spring, TX.

Larry had a passion for life and his strong faith carried him through many years of poor health. His daughter Jaclyn and grandchildren McKenzie and Jolie were the light of his life. Sunshine, Super Star, and Peanut were his purpose on earth. He used to always say, “Life is about making memories” and “Life.....I did it my way!!”

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by Joann Vaughan; daughter, Jaclyn Whitney and husband, Jason; sister, Sharon Hobbs and husband, Steve; grandchildren, McKenzie and Jolie Whitney; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Granbury Care Center and Dr. David Kuban for the many years of care for Larry.
