Lema June Hughes

Lema June Corbin Hughes, born July 25, 1925 in Temple, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015, at the age of 90.

She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Lee and Deanna; two daughters,Pamela Gay Hughes Atkison and Shelley Ann Hughes Crews; as well as, three granddaughters, Niccole Daugherty, Candice Atkison and Heather Atkison; one grandson, Robert Crews; two great granddaughters, Amanda Blair Daugherty Till and Marissa Danielle Daugherty; and one great-great granddaughter, Adalyn Grace Till.

Honorably discharged from the Army as a Sergeant, she worked for a General while stationed at the Pentagon. She retired as a Civil Service worker in Ft. Hood. Her last years were spent at Clifton Care Center in Clifton.
