Lenore Cox

Lenore Valentine Cox, 83, of Georgetown, died Saturday, December 12, 2015, at Park Place Health Care Center in Georgetown. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Clifton Memorial Park with Rev. Robert Rachuig officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, Tuesday at Clifton Funeral Home in Clifton.

On November 28, 1932, Lenore was born in Lake Mohegan, New York to the late Ross and Lenore (Marsh) Valentine. After their deaths while still a young infant, she was adopted by her grandparents, the late Frank and Lillian Lent (Buchner) Valentine. She was a long-time resident of Georgetown and Clifton, where she was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for Goodall-Witcher Hospital for many years.

Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. After years of working and being on call 24/7, she appreciated having the time to relax and visit Las Vegas and take an occasional cruise.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Cox Lloyd and husband, Robert L., of Georgetown; grandson, Travis Andrew Riley Gage and wife, Chelsea; and granddaughter, Kailee Alexis Lloyd. Also, her son, Steven Wayne Cox, and wife, Janice, of Clifton; grandson, Clayton B. Cox; and granddaughter, Allison L. Cox.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
