Leroy F. Walsh

Leroy Frederick Walsh of Clifton Texas, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023. He went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 95. Services will be held on January 7, 2023, at Clifton Memorial Park at 1:00 P.M.

Leroy was born on July 12, 1927, in Lowell, Michigan in Kent County to parents Howard Thomas and Wavelet Violet (Holland) Walsh. He grew up in a time of simplicity and hard work.  He worked for General Dynamics in his younger days and later in life for First National Bank up until he retired. He loved to bowl, do woodworking, trout fishing and camping. He was also known for his gardening skills and sharing of produce to his friends and neighbors. Leroy and wife, Sue were also known for their volunteer work in their community as well. They both shared in volunteering for the V.F.W., Lions Club and Lutheran Sunset Home. Leroy and Sue were also members of the Trinity  Lutheran Church for many years.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Sue. He is survived by sons, Lew and Kevin and daughters Marcia Steele and Judy Olson. Stepchildren Connie Rzepniewski, Jackie Moreland and David Ditmore. His special friends and extended family Ernest, Christy, Gracee and Hydee Hilburn.
