Maria Guadalupe Alvarado

Maria Guadalupe Alvarado, 64, of Clifton passed away on Wednesday, February 5. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30  P.M. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Clifton Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 14, 2025 at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Clifton Memorial Park. 

Maria Guadalupe Alvarado, beloved wife, mother, abuela, sister and friend, passed away on February 5th of 2025 at the age of 64. Born in La Cuadrilla, GTO, Mexico, was the daughter of Maria Guadalupe Puga Martinez and Jose Rico Aguilar. Throughout her life, she was a source of love, kindness, and cared for her 2 children. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jose Alvarado, and her children: Margarita (Gonzalo) and Pedro (Alexandra). Lupe was also an Abuela to 7 grandchildren, Batista, Mercedes, Nathan, Kadyn, Parker, Matthew and Aria. She is survived by her siblings Angelica and Ruben. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents and her 8 siblings.Throughout her life, Lupe always cared for others and cooked meals for everyone. She was an amazing mother, thoughtful friend and caretaker. She was there for anyone who needed help. She loved to cook for everyone and made everyone feel at home. However, her favorite title was Abuela, a role she cherished to her beautiful grandbabies. Lupe touched the lives of all who knew her with her kindness, generosity, delicious meals, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. However, her spirit will live on forever in their hearts. Rest in peace, You will never be forgotten.

María Guadalupe Alvarado, amada esposa, madre, abuela, hermana y amiga, falleció el 5 de febrero de 2025 a la edad de 64 años. Nacida en La Cuadrilla, GTO, México, era hija de María Guadalupe Puga Martínez y José Rico Aguilar. A lo largo de su vida, fue una fuente de amor, bondad y cuidó de sus 2 hijos. La sobreviven su esposo de 42 años, José Alvarado, y sus hijos: Margarita (Gonzalo) y Pedro (Alexandra). Lupe también fue abuela de 7 nietos, Batista, Mercedes, Nathan, Kadyn, Parker, Matthew y Aria. La sobreviven sus hermanos Angélica y Rubén. fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres y sus 8 hermanos.A lo largo de su vida, Lupe siempre se preocupó por los demás y cocinó comidas para todos. Era una madre increíble, una amiga atenta y una cuidadora. Ella estaba ahí para cualquiera que necesitara ayuda. Le encantaba cocinar para todos y hacía que todos se sintieran en casa. Sin embargo, su título favorito era Abuela, un papel que apreciaba por sus hermosos nietos. Lupe toco la vida de todos los que la conocian con su amabilidad, generosidad, deliciosas comidas y amor inquebrantable. Ella sera extrañada profundamente por su familia y amigos. Sin embargo su espíritu vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.
