Marjorie Lee (Pick) Phillips

Marjorie Lee (Pick) Phillips came home to her Lord on January 12, 2022, at her home in Clifton.

She was born, December 23, 1934, raised and died in Bosque County.

Graveside services will be held at Mitchell Cemetery in Iredell, Texas January 17, 2022, at 2:00 PM.

She spent her life raising her “rugrats”; children of teachers and GW workers.  She was a loving and loyal companion to Clarence for 53 years.  Her smile and her grace will be missed by her many friends who loved seeing her at The Washhouse.

Survivors include three daughters, Monica Bryant and husband, Darrel, Shirley Gutkowski and husband, Greg, Kathy Litle and husband, Kruger; six grandchildren, Justin Gutkowki, Paige Gutkowski, Clint Wilson, Margo Qualls “rugrat”, Ryan Litle and wife, Cortney, Tanner Litle and Megan Jones; two great-grandchildren, Jaylene Gutkowski and Leo Litle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Phillips; parents, Leo and Alma Pick; and sister, Margaret Pick.

Pallbearers for Marjorie Phillips’ service will include B.C. Bennett, Alan Nisbet, Russell Necessary, Darrell Ivy, Marco Arrelo and Barry Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, P.O. Box 1525, Ranson, WV 25438
