Michael Levoy Harvey

Michael Levoy Harvey will be laid to rest on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Smithbend-Coon Creek Cemetery.

Born on November 9, 1951, Michael made his entry into this world to expectant parents, Ellis Levoy and Evelyn Faye (Gunn) Harvey. Growing up in the Clifton area, he attended Clifton School grades 1-12. Michael graduated from Clifton High School and went straight into the Air Force after graduation. He was in the Air Force for 15 and a half years. Michael was a part of the Missile Division while in the service.

After his service in the Air Force, Michael worked at the Post Office as a rural mail carrier for several years.

Michael loved to mess around with Hamm Radios in his leisure time. He also enjoyed watching football on TV. Little did people know that he was a cat lover and provided a good home for 7 cats.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Ellis in 1998. Michael also lost his wife, Delores Bethke Harvey.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Evelyn Harvey; Sons, Tanner and Michael Deming Harvey; step son, Jeff Bethke and wife, Tori; aunts, Dorothy Latimer from Trenton, Texas, and Carole Arnold from Delores, Colorado. Six cousins and many friends.
