On July 1, 1960, Patricia married her beloved husband, Floyd Lynn Powell, in a ceremony held at Green Creek Methodist Church. Her dedication to her family defined her spirit, and she embraced joy in the everyday moments spent with her sons, who she adored and celebrated for their accomplishments throughout the years.
Patricia and Floyd shared a love for travel that took them to many cherished locations, living in places such as Stephenville, Glen Rose, Bandera, and Laguna Park. Their adventurous spirits also led them to serve as Campground Hosts at various RV campsites around the United States, where they formed lasting friendships and made beautiful memories together.
In addition to her roles as a wife and mother, Patricia found fulfillment in outdoor activities. She delighted in fishing, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends. A woman of profound faith, Patricia’s strength as a Christian inspired all who knew her, guiding her interactions with compassion and grace.
