Patsy Ruth (Hughett) Noles

May 12, 1938 — April 14, 2020

On Tuesday, April 14th of 2020, Patsy Ruth Noles, 81, of McGregor, TX passed away at Westview Manor. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 16th at Clifton Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Friday, April 17th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Graveside service will be immediate family only. When time permits the family will hold a celebration of life where they look forward to sharing memories with others who loved and cared for Pat.

Patsy, also known as Pat, was born on May 12th, 1939 in the Jonesboro-Turnersville area to Guy Earl Hughett and Eva Mae Herrington Hughett. Pat graduated from Turnersville High School; a short time later had her only child Tammy. Pat went on to become a Dental Assistant on Fort Hood for 20 years where she was recognized for her outstanding work. On February 21, 1985, Pat married the love of her life Jerry Noles and gained 3 more daughters: Debra, Brenda, and Beverley. Together, they built a life filled with family and adventure. They lived in Laguna Park for several years where family loved to gather. Jerry started driving a truck and it wasn’t long until Pat had to be by his side and joined him. They traveled around the United States driving trucks for a living and making many memories along the way. They loved the travel so much that they continued their adventures by purchasing an RV. Pat enjoyed every moment on the road, but always made time for family. Even when fighting her own battles such as breast cancer, Pat made sure to spend time with family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her much joy. She always knew that whatever was going on, “it would all come out in the wash”. Pat was famous for her chocolate fried pies and home-made rolls. Every holiday a pan would always go missing. She loved being outside and working in the flower beds, making sure the butterflies and hummingbirds had plenty of food. Pat and Jerry walked strong in their faith and attended Top Hand Cowboy Church in Valley Mills.

Pat is survived by her husband Jerry Noles of McGregor, Tx, her daughter Tammy Beasley Nipper of Belton, TX, her step-daughters Debra Noles of Waco, TX, Brenda and son-in-law Stanley Haedge of Hico, TX and Beverly and son-in-law Rowdy Arellano of Georgetown, TX. As well as 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Guy Hughett and Eva Hughett, sister Euvon Fewell and son-in-law Thomas Nipper.
