Ray Damion Fry, 96, of Clifton passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Clifton. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Cemetery, Killeen. Visitation will be held from 5:30-6:30 P.M. at Clifton Funeral home. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 P.M. Monday, November 22, 2021 at Clifton Funeral Home.
Ray was born on May 27, 1925, in Montpelier, Ohio to August and Tillie (Walley) Fry. He grew up and attended school in Montpelier. On February 8, 1950, he married Dorris Pointer and they had three children. Ray served our country in the United States Army from 1948-1952. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. He was a carpenter and worked in maintenance at Goodall Witcher Hospital. Some of his hobbies included, working on vehicles, farming in Ohio, and spending time with his family, especially his cat, Blacky. Ray was a very loving and caring man; he would help anyone in need.
Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Dorris; son, Mike Fry; and granddaughter, Robbie Fry.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy Fry Green of Clifton, TX, and Susan Fry Gutierrez of Clifton, TX; sister, Pat Mullens of Oregon; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Damon Fry, Jamie Fry, Jennifer Goleman, Melinda Green, Haley Ochoa, and Christy Matthews.
