Rhonda Grubbs

Rhonda Lynne Grubbs, 49, of Meridian, passed away Thursday night, May 9th, 2019 surrounded by her family and close friends. Rhonda had been diagnosed with cancer last August. graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Ridge Park Cemetery, Hillsboro.

Rhonda was born February 4, 1970 to Frances Lorene and Charles Kenneth Hubbard of Waco, TX.

As a child, the lord needed her father’s help, so he called Charles home in 1978, leaving Rhonda with her mother and older brother Kenneth Hubbard.

On Oct 23, 1985, Rhonda asked the lord to be her personal savior and to guide her through her adventures.

On February 27, 1989, Rhonda became a mother and gave birth to a wonderful son, Patrick William Bellringer Jr. Then again on March 27, 1990, she gave birth to another wonderful son, Christopher Wade Bellringer. Both of these boys were born during her first marriage to Patrick William Bellringer Sr.

On August 1, 1992, Rhonda married her second husband, Walter Berty Grubbs Jr. This amazing man wanted to give her everything she wanted. They had talked about having kids of their own one day but never imagined it would be so soon.

On May 14, 1993, Rhonda gave birth to another wonderful son, Rance Dalton Grubbs.

God had blessed her with three boys but deep down, she wanted a little girl. So on May 7, 1994, she was blessed with her first beautiful girl, Amber Nicole Grubbs.

In November of 1995, Rhonda was blessed again with another beautiful baby girl, unfortunately, the lord needed her with him instead of here on earth. Brittney Denis Grubbs was called home soon after birth.

On April 7, 1998, Faith Rene Grubbs was born, making her Rhonda’s third daughter and last child.

Family was a big part of Rhonda’s life, so of course, her grandchildren meant everything to her. On August 16, 2011, Rhonda witnessed the birth of her first grandchild, a girl. Lauriona Louise Bellringer, was the first born, of her son Patrick and his wife Alicia. Oct 3, 2014, the birth of her second granddaughter, Kimberlyn Grace Bellringer, was born to Patrick and his wife Alicia. God then blessed her with her first grandson on Feb 28, 2018, Jason Ian Mancia Jr, born to Faith and her husband Jason Manica Sr.

Rhonda’s Baptist faith was a big part of who she was. Anyone who knew Rhonda knew she loved being around her family and friends as much as she could. When she wasn’t at home, you could probably find her and Walter out at the lake or river fishing. She also liked to take pictures.

Rhonda is survived by her husband, Walter Grubbs of Meridian, Tx; mother, Lorene Hubbard of Waco, Tx; children, Patrick and wife, Alicia Bellringer of Mart, Tx, Christopher Bellringer of Waco, Tx, Rance Grubbs of Clifton, Tx, Amber Grubbs of Clifton, Tx, and Faith and her Husband Jason Mancia of Granbury, Tx; grandchildren, Lauriona and Kimberlyn Bellringer of Mart, Tx and Jason Manica of Granbury, Tx as well as Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and close friends. Rhonda has joined her Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Keeton, and, Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard; her father Charles Kenneth Hubbard; brother Kenneth Wayne Hubbard; and daughter Brittney Denise Grubbs.
