Ricky Wayne Benfer, a beloved member of the Clifton community, passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on November 25, 1957, Ricky's life was a testament to his generosity and passion for helping those around him. He attended school in Clifton, where he forged friendships that would last a lifetime.
Ricky’s personality shone brightly in all he did. He had a special love for Camaros and was known for his knack for fixing things. His enthusiasm for tackling challenges and lending a helping hand to others created a warm and welcoming presence in the lives of many. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, marked by the countless ways he touched the lives of friends and family.
He is survived by uncle Larry "Mutt" Benfer and wife Anne, sister Tammy Harris, stepbrother Randy Benfer along with cousins Becky Johnson, Bobbie Krueger, Bonnie Kimball, and Patty Koelzer. Ricky also cherished many friendships that enriched his life
Ricky was preceded in death by his loving mother, Dorothy Anz Benfer Humphries, father Jerry Benfer, and brother Rusty. Their memories will forever be intertwined with the legacy Ricky leaves behind.
A graveside service to honor Ricky Wayne Benfer will be held on April 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Norse Cemetery in Clifton, Texas. The service will provide a moment for family and friends to gather, reflect, and celebrate a life dedicated to caring for others.
