Rita Patterson

Rita Faye Patterson of Clifton passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clifton at 10:00am on Saturday, September 19, 2015. The family will receive visitors on Friday, September 18th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Clifton Funeral Home.

Rita was born on February 4, 1952, in Waco to Robert and Marie Willmann. She and her three brothers grew up in Womack on their family farm. Rita graduated from Clifton High School in 1970 and married Keith Patterson on September 26, 1970. Keith and Rita had two daughters, Christina and Carla.

Rita loved being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. In addition, Rita was an avid volunteer for many activities in Clifton, including the CISD band, the Clifton 4-H Club, and Trinity Lutheran Church.

Rita is survived by her husband, Keith of Clifton; daughters, Christina Overby and husband Sean of Garland and Carla Doss and husband Cris of Fort Worth; brothers, Harry Willmann of Clifton, Donnie Willmann and wife Susan of Haslet, and Ronnie Willmann and wife Pauline of San Angelo; grandchildren Alexandria and Wesley, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church (in Rita's name), Clifton Volunteer Fire Department, or the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Clifton.
