Thelma Rena Johnston

Thelma Rena Johnston passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015. Her family will hold a memorial service in her honor at a later date.

Born November 3, 1928, she was the daughter of Larry Russell and Murial Edna (Wilson) Harr. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing golf and bridge. She also enjoyed participating in the Bosque Arts Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bob Johnston.

Survivors include her sons, Rusty Johnston and wife, Bonnie, of Alvin, Ted Johnston and wife, Irene, of Sugarland, Scott Johnston and wife, DaNell, of Valley Mills; sisters, Peggy Rose and husband, Jim, of Valley Mills, Collette Taylor of Amarillo; sister-in-law, Dorothy Ann Gregory of Enid, OK; 9 grandchildren, Sean Johnston and wife, Rosie, Lisa Collins and husband, Rick, Sharron Davis, Jesse Campos and wife, Aron, Tony Campos, Laurie Johnston, Julianna Johnston, Jeremy Johnston and wife, Crystal, Brandon Johnston and wife, Rennee; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
