Timothy "Tim" Cook

Timothy "Tim" Cook, 53, of Clifton passed away at Providence Hospital Sunday, August 27, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Church of Christ, Clifton with Minister Steve Countryman officiating. Burial will follow at Oswald Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Clifton Funeral Home.

Tim was born November 6, 1963 to Clifford Cook and Lula Belle (Oswald) Cook. After graduating from Clifton High School in 1982, he attended TSTI. He worked for David’s Grocery, Gearench, and Cross Creek Furniture, where he made cushions for all of the couches. He also worked for Clifton Moulding and Clifton Independent School District. In 1991, he married Beth Pipes. Tim had a love for fishing and hunting, but did more fishing in the last few years. He was a member of Church of Christ, Clifton. Preceding him in death were his mother and sister, Beverly Cook.

He is survived by wife, Beth Cook of Clifton; daughters, Jolene Sinkule and husband, Carl of West, Jill Oliver and significant other, Matt Burgess of Clifton; grandchildren, Lacey and Lindsey Sinkule, and numerous family and friends.

From Clifton traffic light intersection of TX 6 and FM 219, drive 0.7 miles NE on FM 219; turn left onto CR 1991 and drive 1.8 miles; turn right onto CR 3221 and drive 0.4 miles; turn left into private driveway, marked with cemetery sign; drive 0.3 miles, through stock gate, to cemetery entrance.
