Tina Marie Pate

August 13, 1971 — July 30, 2015

Tina Marie Couchman Pate walked into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 30, 2015.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Clifton, TX, with a reception to follow.

Tina was born on August 13, 1971, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Frank and Elaine Couchman. She married John Clinton Pate on August 12, 1989.

Tina's life was indeed a life to be celebrated. Wife, mother, homemaker, volunteer, and faithful servant of God. She was loved by her family and friends for her servant's heart, compassion and generosity, and deep love for others and the Lord.

In Clifton, Tina worked with special needs children at CISD and volunteered with the Clifton Band Backers Organization for many years. She was president of the Aggie Mom's club and worked for Texas State Technical College in Waco, in the Access and Learning Accommodations, where she worked closely with the deaf community.

Out of all of Tina's titles, "Mother" was her favorite...and she was not only mother to Amanda, Ashley, and Allison but also to many kids through the years.

From Amanda, Allison and Ashley, "Momma, we LOVE you to Hawaii and back"!!!!

Tina was preceded in death by her grandfather Fred Hollister.

Survivors include her grandmother, Ellen Hollister; parents, Frank and Elaine Couchman; husband, Clint Pate; Daughters, Amanda, Ashley, and Allison Pate; and her brother, Mike Couchman and wife Kim, and their children, Cole, Noah, and Alexis.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
