Trent Dietiker

December 2, 1983 — February 7, 2021

Trent Curtis Dietiker passed away on February 7, 2021 in Meridian, Tx.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 21, 2021, at the First United Methodist Church in Clifton, Texas. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm, Friday, February 12, 2021, at the Clifton Funeral Home. Trent was born on December 2, 1983 in Clifton, Texas, to Danny and Diane (Webb) Dietiker.  He lived in Bosque County until graduating in 2002 from Clifton High School.  He was baptized at First United Methodist Church in Meridian.  He attended Tarleton State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance.  He worked in the restaurant and retail industry primarily, most extensively as general manager for Hard Eight BBQ in Roanoke and Burleson.

Trent had many wonderful qualities.  He was very caring and had a great sense of humor.  He was an easy going and generous person.  He enjoyed sports in his youth and excelled in whatever he did.  He was an all-state offensive lineman, was a 2-time all-district guard in basketball, and was an all-district baseball player. He enjoyed cooking and demonstrated his affection for others by preparing meals for them frequently.  He loved people, was positive and upbeat, and was a compassionate and patient man.  Trent was a loving father, brother, and uncle.  He was a mentor and friend to many.  His life’s legacy is his daughter Madison and the many people that he brought joy to during his journey.

Trent is survived by his daughter, Madison Dietiker; her mother, Marisol Tinoco of Grand Prairie; mother Diane Dietiker of Clifton; brother Garth Dietiker, brother Grant Dieitker and wife Awnya of Meridian; nieces Dacey, Abigail, and Brinley.

He is preceded in death by his father, Danny Dieitker.

Pallbearers will be Chase Philipp, Erik Philipp, Weston Canuteson, Danny Werlinger, Shane Zimmerman, Wade Zimmerman, Kevin Conrad, Chris Evans, and Tyler Ham.
