Troy Raines

Troy Raines, 57, of Clifton passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Clifton. Visitation will be 6:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at Clifton Funeral Home. Burial at Smith Bend-Coon Creek Cemetery.

Born September 4, 1958, Troy is the son of Floyd and Wanda Raines. After graduating from Clifton Highschool, he attended MCC and Southwest Texas State, then returned to Clifton to run the Family Business, Bosque Plumbing.

Troy enjoyed fishing with his brother Chris and nephew Nathan, golfing, sports and he loved animals and children. He made weekly trips to Waco with his sister Rhonda to have dinner or go to a movie. He thought of his niece Holly as his own child, spoiling her and as she recalls, never telling her "no" to anything. Preceding him in death were all his grandparents and great niece, Heather Heath.

Survivors include his parents, Floyd and Wanda Raines; Brother, Chris Raines; sister, Rhonda Raines; nieces, Holly Rockett, Samantha Fields, Autumn Lockett, Sarah Crawford; nephew, Nathan Raines; great nieces, Ava Lockett, Aiden Rockett; great nephews, Brayden Rockett, Nolan Crawford, Levin Lockett, Gavin Crawford, Noah Chavez, Hugo Lockett.
