Uvalde Ybarra

Surrounded by family, Uvalde Ybarra passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on Thursday, May 25, 2023, after a courageous battle with a long-term illness.

He was born on April 27, 1946, in San Benito, Texas. He is preceded in death by Mother, Margarita Hernandez Ybarra, Father, Librado Ybarra, Brothers, Guadalupe Ybarra, Manual Ibarra, and Roman Ybarra.

He is survived by his spouse Rosa Flores Ybarra, his seven sisters and two brothers, and a huge extended family of beloved nieces and nephews.

Uvalde was a Vietnam Veteran having served proudly in the United States Marine Corp from 1970 until 1974. We thank our brother for his service, his bravery, his sacrifice, and his strength. His Marine Corp service led many others in our family to join him in serving our country in the United States Army, United States Air Force, and the United States Navy.

At his funeral, his service to our country will be honored with the playing of Taps and a 21-gun salute.

The funeral be held on Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. at the Clifton Funeral Home.
